Additional meeting

We have an addition meeting at Coventry, for points, on Friday 18 November, in aid of Children in Need. Thanks to Steve Ree's for supplying the trophies for the meeting. You will need to book in for this meeting along with our final meeting at Birmingham.

Boxing Day Meeting

We have the opportunity for a Boxing Day meeting at Coventry. This meeting is not a points scoring event. If you would like to race please let Mr Chairman know, as we need a minimum of 15 cars.

Presentation Evening

Tickets are now available for the Presentation Evening, please see Mandy asap. All drivers are free but they must be accompanied by an adult, adults  are £15.00 and additional children £10.00.

We would appreciated an raffle prizes you may wish to donate.

Please return any annual awards/trophies, plus any that you would like re-presenting on the night.

Please note, only drivers that have already scored points at Barford in 2011 are eligible to take part in Race One (Northern Championship). Drivers not included in Race One will be eligible to take part in Race Two, Final and Allcomers.

NORTHERN CHAMPIONSHIP- Presented to the winner of the first race of the designated meeting. The grid is made up from the points scored at the designated tracks, closed grid with highest points scorer on pole, qualifiers only.

Well Done to all that raced at Buxton at the weekend. It was a great day for all, with some fantastic racing. Well done for those drivers finishing in the top 3 of the National Championship; #1 (#777) Max Hertzogg, #275 Karl Hawkins and #212 Phoebe Wainman.

REMINDER: Practice @ Buxton on the Saturday afternoon exclusively for Mini's.  This practice will take place 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm, at a reduced cost of £10 per car. Places need to be booked via the track.

Following a disciplinary hearing after the Skegness meeting on the 9th August, #212 received a six meeting ban, three of which are suspended, which will be carried for the next twelve months.  #324 received a twenty meeting ban with ten of these being suspended, which will  also be carried over for the next twelve months.  #323 received a warning letter regarding his driving conduct on track.  All drivers need to take note of the above.  Turning cars out of or down the straights is being watched by the meeting stewards.

ALL drivers can book into race on the 4th, this will be a full support meeting, THE MORE MINIS THE BETTER !!!

You should have now received your form to apply for a 2011 license, please get these sent in as quickly as possible or you will be charged £10 extra. As you can see you are now paying the BSCDA and not us, they won't be as lenient as us!

As you can see we are alive and well! Sorry to all other readers but have had a few issues. Hopefully now we can keep you all informed as to the life of the National Ministox Club.

IOM

Information packs are on there way to me from the IOM promoter. If you are interested in racing and have not already let me know, please contact me asap.  Travel money of £150 per team of 4, as in previous years is available, however, this is on a first come first serve basis. 

Rule packs/license forms

By now you should have received your 2011 rule pack, if you have not then please let me know and we can get one sent out to you. We are having a meeting with the BSCDA and once issues have been resolved we will get application forms sent to you.
